I'm a newspaper reporter working on a story about people interested in buying late-model cars before the newly redesigned ones come out. The story's got a focus on Mustangs. Anyone here considering buying an 04 rather than the 05 (I'd assume the only reason you'd do so was to try to get a bargain - but if there are other reasons, let me know.)

ok. im poor, which is why i drive a '92 5.0. lol but if i had the $$$, id buy an '04 Cobra. i honestly dont like the new looks of the '05's. it might grow on me once theyre out for a little while and after i start seeing them on the road, but for now, i like the '04 body style better. plus, with 390hp from the factory, you cant beat that. with a few mods youre pushing over 400hp at the wheels. im not complaining. so, thats my $.02.
