Hey all... nice to be here. Any other members in Arizona? Recently bought this 99 GT after blowing up my 96 [&o] .
I really wanted a newer GT, but I couldn't pass this deal up.. besides, I wanna save so I can get the 2005!!! Anyway, I gave $8800 for this silver GT. It already had alot of mods on it, including MAC cold air intake, Basani X-pipe, Magnaflow cat back exhaust, King Cobra clutch, Steeda Tri-Ax short throw shifter, and it came with a power programmer. Since then, I have ripped out the Mach 460 system and replaced it with a Pioneer XM/CD/MP3/WMA player, Pioneer XM Tuner, 2 amps, and 2 JL Audio 12" subs. Check out the pics... hope you like.

Hey yall. Nice to be a part of a "mustang group" even better to talk cars with people. I just got a 2003 black GT, the dream car of every little girl in the south!! He is soooo sweet. Will have some pictures on line soon as I can get some. I 've only had him for about 1 week. Second stang to come into my hands first GT though. Anyway the power is fantastic but the sound is even better;allready came equipped with a brand new flow to help that deep growl of a stang!! Soon to add K&N air filter and possibly an H pipe! Wow, even louder!!!!

Hey Melissa... the 2003 already has an H pipe from the factory. If you want it to really rumble, go with an x-pipe and either magnaflows or flowmasters. I had flowmasters on my 96 and after awhile the rumble was just too much... I was always having to turn up the radio to try to drown it out. I really prefer the magnaflows on it now.. it has a great "growling" sound thru 4th gear, but 5th is relatively quiet... at least inside the car. Then when you want it to roar, just down shift and punch it and people start looking!!!
PS- It's fun to drive through the parking lots and set off people's car alarms with that roar!

Welcome to the forums. Hey-that's cheeting buying a car already mod'd. You are supposed to put all of that stuff on your credit cards and go poor and really sweat all of the modding decisions like some of us do. Enjoy the ride!
