Default New from Wyoming

Just bought a 68 Mustang Coupe on Friday. This is my starting point for wanting to get some help with questions or just advice. Does anyone know where I can get information relating to the DSO data tag. It was missing from the car and I'd like to see if I can obtain that information from some place. Looking for several sources to get the DSO information specific to my 68 stang.

Welcome and take a look back under classic mustangs, somebody posted a web site there that deciphers older VIN's some time back but I can't remember exactly when.

I've decoded the VIN, but actually looking for information about the original color , interior and exterior, axle and such that would be on the DSO tag, if this is the right thing to call it.
I did call FORD and they said they would research the VIN and send me a copy of the build it sheet in 4-8 weeks.
