Obviously new...and still driving my Jeep...
Just wanted to say hey and look around for info on Mustangs. I've always liked the cars - almost bought a '97 a few years back (4.6, auto), but ended up saying no.
Fast forward - I'm an active off-roader in my local Jeep Club. Until last week I was happy wandering through the woods...then I chatted with my insurance agent and realized I could actually save money owning a sports car...seems my Cherokee is costing me money in more than one way...LOL
Anyway, not sure if a car is gonna happen for me, but since it's cheaper on insurance, it's worth looking at.
I'm going to go poke around for info on 5.0 reliability with a 5spd, fuel economy of the 5.0 stock and what it's like to live with one of the 92-ish 5.0 LX's daily. Are they OK in snow with winter tires and careful driving, dangerous in the rain, etc. That kind of stuff.
Well, I'm off to search the forums.

RE: Obviously new...and still driving my Jeep...
should have snagged that 97.....lol. anyways welcome to the forum! what do you have done to the xj?? I still managed to keep my yj and turn it into a trail rig. You should look into a 99 and up stang, unless insurance and $$$ is holding you back. Thats why I just purchased my stang like 5 months ago and decided to get an older one. I could not afford the insurance of a 99 and up. I'm only 21. Most people would proly hate me for saying this, but stick with the mod motor!!!! peace.........
