i say just get a 94-95 for like 3-6 grand and drop a crate motor in that should do it. and u would still have enough for a sc or somthing.

it is WAY cheaper to buy a car modded, but if you were to build one, i personally would get a 95 vert and put a blower and stuf on....

You could look around for a later model GT or something... then mod that up bit by bit.

Welcome and good luck with the search.

welcome to the boards, I say buy a 95 drop in a 351 and twin turbo the **** outta it, well I guess that would be considerably more than 13k and 400rwhp

hey hey, preciate the post guys, I think i might go to an older fox bodied mustang the look nice are i mgiht find another 95 and do the new stuff to it, im buying back my old car and gonna sell the new tremec3550(if any interested about 3,000miles on it) i just put it in along with the alum. shaft and the new king cobra clutch and the the bellhousin etc., wahetever i buy im looking to drop a 347 in along with a 6spd and ima strip my old car and im going to transfer the steeda suspension(control arms upper/lower, along with the springs to the new car,if i dont get the older bodied mustang like 90-93 i like). My ? is would i have enough as if i would to buy a 95 stang for 3,000 with are without motor, are maybe 6cly version, and would i have enough to buy the 347 along with the 6spd, im shure i should have enough b/c it shouldnt cost more than 5,000 to build the motor right? And how much horses will i get to the rear wheels with a 5,000 motor , i really am lookin to more than 400 to the wheels, ITS A MUST HAVE GUYS, my good friend mike has a 92 comaro z28,full restoed, well he should have it back soon, he just had a 01 ls1 planted in it with a 6spd, it has about 400 to the wheels (I HALF TO BE ABLE TO WHOOP HIM period!!!)(mike 92 maro(orange)ls1 swap) so this is why ima have more than 400 to the wheels yall fill me right? j/p anyways. I'm just not familiar with the strokers and all and what they produce, i've been reading when i get the time but havnt seen the numbers yet for any, if anyone knows about the 347 and what it could get me to the wheels i'd also aprreciate that info to. I'm shure that i can do it, i just wont some info from so ppl that have alittle more knowledge then what i possess at the moment, I been racing legend cars since i was 8, but all i know is how to set up a car , and how to drive one lol, not to much for motors ya know? But what i need help with is how much a 347 would be and will it get over 400 to the ground?(13,500 is the budget). I'll take all the help guys into buildin my new stang, dont forget i half to beable to blow my friedns ls1 away.
