Been 'observing' the forum for many months now. So, HELLO FORUM!
Have found a TON of useful information here. From TSB's to mods to well just about anything. So anyway, old school motorhead here. Had a '66 Mustang and and '67 Fastback previously during my younger days. Drove Accords for the last 15 years or so and now enjoying my 'mid-life crisis car.' IT ROCKS!
'06 GT Premium with all the whistles and bells. Did opt for the auto. Same reason as most of the peoples posts in the auto vs manual threads. I am old, sick of shifting in traffic and its my DD. Bought her back in 9/06 on the 0% finance deal for 72/mo ( I love to borrow money for free!!!). Dont go looking for racing much but did have my first kill couple nights ago, '70 El Camino w/SS badges. Spanked him! Will post the spec in the street/strip forum later.
Anyway, you guys are a smart bunch of dudes (and dudettes too). Thanks!

Welcome to Mf. Your story sounds similiar to mine except I bought my stang with a 5 spd. I'm getting old(er) myself and have had the past several musclecars with auto's so I opted for a 5 spd this time. Oh your stang looks sharp by the way.
