Default 64 1/2 mustang

how's it going guys im new to this forum. I have a 1964 1/2 mustang with a 6 strait in there.Its in really good condition i just want to transform it into a racing machine so i am going to do an engine swap with a v8 but i am not shure with what to go with. it is an automatic so i know i need a new trasmission with i but i was wonderingsince i am changing it is it possible tomake it a manual transmission? so if you guys have any ideas it would really help thanks

why..the 64.5 are getting hard to find as with the engine swap you'll need to put attention to the rear as beening a light duty unit in whole
