Default '07 Satin Silver GT / 5-Speed Manual

Hey Guys!

I got my '07 GT about 6 months ago, when my jeep starting shutting off every mile in the middle of traffic. I would have to put the automatic in neutral and restart the engine while coasting down the road. Long story short, 4 trips to the mechanic and $1000 later, the car was starting in 2nd gear, and shutting down literally every mile. I decided to chuck it, and get a new car. I went to the dealer and picked up a pretty pony named Kate. So far she only has tint and a 8" shorty antenna, but as soon as I graduate college (May '08 Go Gators!), some performance mods are soon to come, most notably a short shifter and a new suspension. If you guys have any suggestions for initial must-do modifications, please let me know.

Do you have any particular brands that are exceptionally good for the CAI system. I've been looking around, and all the companys claim to be the best lol. Also, some CAI systems require a tuner, and which of those is the best?

Thanks for the help,

Jasper

well, in my opinion, i'm pretty sure you'll need to get it tuned regardless of which system you go with.. if you don't, you won't be taking advantadge of the extra breathing capabilities, i'm going with Ford Racing - strictly due to warranty reasons.. but i'm sure they're all pretty good.. it's a pretty simple system, so to me, it comes down to price & warranty - not much help.. maybe someone with more experience with different ones can answer ya better =) good luck
