1986 5.0 roller project!!
i have an 86 5.0 and i have this engine
block is 91 roller block w/ 0 miles on the build
bored .020" over,
honed w/a deck plt.
Keith Black hypereutectic pistons w/floating pins,
400 Chevy rods w/ARP wavelock rod bolts,
stock crank ground .010/.010"
Probe main stud girdle.
Pistons are 100 grams lighter than stock TRW's
i am going n/a and i need advice on heads.i can get my hands on these
Ford D8OE-AB Heads
They were hot tanked and rebuilt with a three angle seat and new guides. They have threaded pedestals and new stamped steel rocker arms with pedestal pivot, fulcrums, rocker arm channel guides and bolts. Also a new set of hydraulic lifters
are these the heads to go with , will they work with my motor?
i am an average mechanic but i dont know about new to old motors ie roller motor
PLEASE HELP
