Hello from new member
Hello everybody, its nice to have a forum for our passion of the stang. I have a 01 performance red GT. It has all the option inc..the high end handling option. I just gave it a thorough tune up/maintenance. I truly enjoy this car.
You have to understand my back ground. I was a anti-Ford person for 18yrs and A die hard Chevy man. I owned numerous camaros ( built to the hilt) and vettes. My brothers Saleen sc stang really interested me. I figured I would buy a stang & give it a try. Well what can I say, I really love it. Itouthandles & brakes better than my camaro. It is more of a pleasure to drive. The hp is my only complaint however the remainder definitely compliments the car. One day I will have the ultimate stang in my eyes, The 03 to 08 Cobra......One day....

Welcome to the forums ulose. Don't feel like you are alone on the Chevy thing. When I bought my stang I did three things I swore I'd never, never do...1) buy a black car, 2) buy a vert and 3) buy a Ford. Well...after driving my son's 2004 GT home from the dealers I changed my mind. 10 days later I bought my 2007 GT/CS BLACK, VERT and wish I'd made the move 30 years earlier.
