"Turbo" BOSS... SN197...
Hey guys, just joined this forum hoping to get some cool insight on Mustangs here. I've been an avid Mustanger since I got my lisence and still continued till this day. Just some background, I've owned (in order) a 65 Mustang Coupe, a 93 GT 5.0 Hatch, a 97 GT Coupe, an 06 GT Coupe, and currently. My 2007 GT Coupe. I've added a few pictures of my past Mustangs and my current one, named BOSS, below. Tell me what you think!
------------------
----------
------------------
This was my 1965 Mustang Coupe. It had a 200CI and a 3-speed tranny, but it's still a Mustang! I ended up trading it for my 93.
------------------
----------
------------------
This was my 1993 Mustang GT 5.0 Hatch. I had this thing with a 150 shot, full sound system, off road exhaust, and I sold it for $3000....... stupid me!!!
------------------
----------
------------------
This was my 1997 Mustang GT. I work at a dealership and bought this one for $3000 last winter, it had 56k miles on it I sold it after the winter for $4000. As you can see, my 06 was in the garage while this was the DD.
------------------
----------
------------------
Ahh yes. The 2006 Torch Red Mustang GT. I had a passion for this one, kept it clean, garage kept, everything! It had SLP Loudmouth exhaust, a CAI, and a 93 OCT tune. But it pulled pretty nicely. I got rid of it 12 months after i bought it just because I could get better financing on another new one lol.
------------------
----------
------------------
And now.. the moment of truth. The 2007 Mustang GT BOSS....
This is what the car looked like the 2nd day I had it...
------------------
----------
------------------
And this is what it looks like now...
------------------
----------
------------------
Hmmm..... after money well spent.....
------------------
----------
------------------
This one ended up pulling a nice 457RWHP and 462RWTQ at 8.4PSI.
The turbo was a Stage 1 Single Turbo Kit from HP Performance, came with a lot of good stuff including a Garrett Turbo, huge custom intercooler, 39lb injectors, ect.
Other mods include: stripes, wheels & tires, tints, flowmaster american thunder axle-backs, rear blackout panel, sequential taillights, outlined and honeycombed taillights, HID headlights AND foglights, upper and lower billet grille, spec stage 3 clutch, spec aluminum flywheel, and a hurst short throw shifter.

WOW...you were't kidding, it is a boss turbo. I thought you were kidding!! Who did the turbo install? What do you think you got invested in the turbo set up. Do you have one of those blow off valves that make a lot of noise? I thinkl It's cool when the bolw off valve wails and all the n00bs stare and go, what was that??? If I had my choice (and a lot more money) I would have a car pretty darn close to what you have. Very nice. Sell it to me in a few years!!!!

the turbo buildup itself was about $6500 installed and dynotuned.. add a few more bucks for the stage 3 clutch and alloy flywheel, wheels tires, etc... i got about $10,000 invested total.... sucks lol. Sutton HP tuned it, the guys at my ford dealer installed it
