Hello to you
I am the proud papa of a 83 convertible 5.0 5 speed. Just boughtit last week and I am pumped. Currently it has:
MSD 6al2 ignition
MSD coil (strapped to the power steering pump)
MSD distributer
Aluminum radiator
Triax shifter
Red series fuel pump(?)
Weld aluminum racing rims (with four different tires)
Flex-a-lite fan
Holley 750 carb
10 gallon fuel cell
ugly fiberglass hood with a 6 inch cowl
The kid also gave me the original 10 hole rims, original hood, two turbos and an intercooler
Got all of it for $1800. Don't think that is too bad
Going to putz around with it over the summer. Reinstall the convertible motor, new lines. Locate and install new power window switches and a power top switch. Pull out all the garbage wiring for old speakers and amps.New bushings for the doors.
Then thiswinter I plan to pull the engine and trans, clean up the engine bay, get the trans looked over, and install my engine thatI built a couple years ago. 302 .030" over. withAluminum GT40 heads.
