Hi guys,

New to the whole Mustang thing but familiar with the old `Blue Oval`. Looking to buy one in the next couple of weeks. I`m in Scotland and fuel is $11 a gallon [sm=boosign.gif]so it has to be a V8!
Still not sure which one though. I have a lot to learn.

Not many. I`ve only ever seen one. Most people here that like performance cars have eitherGerman cars like Porsche or Audi or BMW or the oddTurbo`d Japanese thing. Ford UK make a rapid turbo 2.5 Focus butI like Mustangs, they`re different

Don't you have liters vs gallons? Wow.....hey as long as you can afford the big bucks to fill it once and a while it's a fun car to have. And with our dollar down I would think Stangs might be less expensive now.

Yes, well. £1.30 a litre ($2.60) Equates to $11 a gallon. Too expensive by any stretch of the imagination but everythings expensive here. You`d think with fuel being so expensive that big engined cars would be cheaper but theyre not. I really fancy a 5.0 for the garage.
