Soon to be new Mustang owner....and formerly a 3000gt guy..yeah im switchin teams

Hi All..

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi,

Living in Brooklyn NY, Im starting to shop around for an 05 mustang for the summer. I need a new car to go along with my move down to Florida (FSU) for Grad school. Its going to be tough to part with my 94 3k but she just isnt young enough anymore

Anyway, Im going to pick up a convertible and not sure which engine i want...with gas prices and all. Does anyone know when the 06 model is coming around because ill try to hold out till then (when 05 prices drop).

Welcome!!! With the demand for the GTs, it'll be very difficult to find a good deal.

i think if you try and pre-order a GT now, you're going to end up getting an 06. you should ask this in the 05 section, none of them ever come out of there to check here regarding 05 questions/comments.

Welcome!

If you're looking for a GT vert-- you may be able to still find an 05 someplace, just look around as much as you can. If you want an 06 vert, it'll probably be next spring when you get it.

Check out the 05 forums-- the owners over there know what they're talking about.
