Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum. I bought a 1966 red convertible with a white top, C-code 298, C4, stock disc brakes and power top 2 years ago. Convinced the little old lady (yes!) who was the original owner to part with it. My checkbook convinced her, I should say. She had shoulder surgery and couldn't drive a non-power steering car, so it sat since about 2000 before I got it and it runs perfect. She also gave me the original window sticker, sales receipt and two original sales brochures. There are some more interesting stories about the car that I wish I had the attention span to type. All in all, it is bone stock original, minus a left front fender and rust free after spending all of it's life in the dry desert. And that is the way it will stay. The car's name is Ginger. Don't ask my why, it just fits.
