Damn 3k for a Cobra with 60k on it? Talk about a steal. Nice stealth, did you clone it into a 3000gt? Looks clean. What do you have done to it? I had a 98 3000GT VR4 a year or so back--AWESOME CAR lol. I ended up selling it though to get into the desert racing scene. I still regret not keeping it sometimes haha. Don't quote me on it, but I believe a 95 cobra is capable of something like a 14 flat or something close to that give or take a little...I think lol.

stealth has a ton of bolt on mods, no turbo's yet, and yeah I swapped the body kit from stealth to 3000gt since all the bumpers were cracked and my side skirts were warped anyway

unfortunatly its the mustang OR the peugeot. Currently trying to trade the pug for a turbo kit for the stealth.

per chance the 99 - 04 tails fit the earlier models? I dislike the stock tails on the 95 and would like them to look like the newer ones

Sorry I don't think the 99+ tailights will fit properly. The three light vertical ones from the 96-98's will though, they aren't as sharp looking as the 99+ ones, but then again they aren't the horizontal ones like on the 94 & 95's

Matt,
I've had & enjoyed VW's, Alfa Romeos, Hondas, BMWs, even a Simca.
But as much fun as those can be nothing compares to good'ole American Iron V-8 powered Mustang! Dont think you'll be disappointed.
Sounds like you have the makins of a pretty good wrench, Welcome to the Group.

good information to know.

What would suggested mods be for a 95. I'm noticing that this isn't the year for the "cobra cobra" as my friends GT has 260hp while this year has 240hp. What are the best bang for the buck mods and what can I expect from them in numbers

I'm learning the whole v8 area of this. Once again I'm used to V6's and turbo's

Those 5.0's have ALOT of potential. You're lucky parts are generally cheaper and more plentiful for those things. Also, if you ever wanna do a cam change, you only need to buy once since its a pushrod--I on the other hand need 4 lol, which can be really pricey as you can imagine. But as far as mods, I would start of with the basics--cold air intake or something similar of the kind, off road or catted mid pipe (which every you feel more comfortable running), and a better flowing exhaust. From there the sky's the limit, but depending on your budget that's where I woulds start. If you're feeling a tad more ambitions you could go with less restrictive headers as well (Long tubes or shorties -again whatever you feel comfortable with) Once you get it breathing better you can worry about the other stuff. Sorry but I don't know exactly what kind of gains you would be looking at from those mods, but I'm sure someone else on here does. If I'm not mistaken since you have the cobra, that came already with the better flowing heads and intake manifold than the other 5.0 GT's did, so you are already a step ahead of the game.
