Unmolested 60K 1993 Calypso...tires/rims???

Default Unmolested 60K 1993 Calypso...tires/rims???
Just picked up one female owner 60K Calypso LX 5.0 5 speed, factory 5 speed...looking for the right wheel and tire combo. Would like to go to 17"x 8" and 17" x 9" combo...black with polished lip. Set I am looking at has 15mm front and 20mm rear offset. Experts - any pictures or inputs on this offset? Thinking 225/45's on front and 235/45's on back - can I go larger without rubbing? Is stock 4 lug and don't want to modify greatly at this point and will stay with 4 lug.
Any input???
