New Here 09 Brilliant Silver GT
Hey all. Figure I would formally introduce myself. Ive been perusing the forums for quite a while now and just recently joined, only posting a bit in the 05-08 forums.
Just bought an 09 Brilliant Silver Mustang GT on August 16, 2008. Basically all the upgrade packages, Interior Upgrade, Shaker 1000, Ambiet Lighting, Glass Roof, etc. Black leather int. I love this beast. I have wanted a Mustang since I was like 3 lol. My first car was a 2001 Kia Rio. Thats the one that I expiramented with as far as aftermarket goes, even though there really isnt any lol. Second car was a 2000 Audi A6 2.7T (twin turbo V6). That one had a little more aftermarket but it had like 80k on the odo when I got it so I just left it stock with the exception of new mufflers.
I was working for a Ford dealership here in Pocatello ID for a year and 8-10 months and got to drive GT's and GT500's and such all the time. Absolutely loved it. Got a new job with a corp based out of Cali making a lot more money so I figured it was time to buy. Got the employee discount and everything lol. Im 19 and still live at home so I dont have any other payments, so I figured hey I can afford the high payment.
Ill upload some pics when I get a chance after I find my camera. I think I have some pics here somewhere that I took they day I got it so I might upload those.
So far I have MAC Long Tubes, MAC O/R X Pipe, C&L CAI, and SCT X3 (93 Oct tune from Brenspeed). Getting a Pypes MM system here soon. Unfortunately since I live in Idaho snow is coming like any day now, so im prob going to have to garage it for the winter. Ill be modding throughout though so I wont go out of my mind during the long winter months.
So there ya go. I have already learned a lot about my car and am loving the friendly atmosphere so I hope to learn a lot more and maybe even contribute!

Welcome. Sounds like a nice ride. I currently own an 02 V6. Ill upgrade to a newer model a little down the road. I was thinking maybe the 2014 50th year anniversary Mustang Cobra. You know thats gotta look good. I'm already saving up.

Yeah Rapscallion I heard a rumer that in 2012 they were redoing the body style completely. If not by then maybe by 2014. I just bought this and im already saving up for whatever intensely amazing F/I one comes out then lol.

Sounds like a SICK ride man! Can't wait to see some pics!
I have a 2003 Stage 2 ROUSH. Only mods so far are JLT CAI, O/R X pipe, and SCT Xcal 3 tune.
Future mod is a 2.1 intercooled KB kit! It's gonna be my winter project!!! Can't wait to get it out on the road and tear up the streets with it on! Gonna be a sleeper until I step on it and I go screamin by them! =)
