Hey everyone, My name is Chris and I am from Lufkin. I am new to the whole Mustang scene. I just recently purchased a 2000 Mustang, I wished it was a GT or a Cobra but it is just a V6 5 speed.

I am planning on making it look good instead of making it fast. I am planning on lowering it about 1.5" to 2" with 20" rims on it and a Saleen body kit.

I am hoping to have a good welcome to the forums and I hope to see some clean cars from all of the rest of you guys and girls!

Welcome. Glad to here you bought a mustang. Even though it is a V6, you at least have one. If you plan on making it nice please do not make it look like rice. That kind of crap makes other mustangers loose respect.

I'm not planning on making it look like rice. I hate it when people do that. There is a guy in my town that has a white stang with a full body kit, white flames going up the front window, spray painted white 18's, he painted the tail lights white and had circles taped off on each one so now they are white with lots of red dots all over them. He ruined that car!

Anyways, I am wanting my car to stand out from the crowd. The paint is Blue with green and purple pearl in it. When I get my 20's, or 22's now that I found out they will fit on a 2000, I will hope that it turns heads going down the road.

I am about to order my springs very very soon. I have decided to go with 1.5" springs.
