just bought a 89 mustang LX looking for help

okay i just bought a 89 mustang LX with a 2.3L 4 cylinder engine. i really wanted to get a get 8 cylinder but i judt didnt have one in my price range at the moment. now what are soe of the first things i need to do to this car. can i drop a new engine in it? about how much would that run? i really wanna get a v8 5.0L. any advice would be appriciated

welcome. Keep the 4 banger. Even the 5.0 is SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.....

hey i jsut got a 93 stang but its a 4-bangr also theres plent of room isnt there i was thinking about a 5.0 or somethn but i dono

take that 4 banger out then take you a 302 stroke that baby out , and give a vett,a run for his money.

Welcome, and there is enough room for a 460 in a foxbody so your 302 obviously will fit.. if you plan on doing the conversion yourself I'd say about $1000. if your paying someone else its going to get expensive.
