Default 91 Honda to 05/06 Mustang

Well, I've been driving the same old Honda for 14 years. Time to move on. I've been looking at the Dark blue V6 '05 and am thinking I should bump that up the GT. So, I'm on the verge of doing it. Taking on a note, insurance, etc. is a daunting move. Anyone else face this decison recently? I bet you didn't regret it? I can think of no better car on the market today than the new Stangs. Since 1972, Ford has not come anywhere close to what is now. This is the closest thing you can get to the classic late 60's - 70's muscle cars. I guess I better get one!

Definitely nothing wrong with a 6er. You can build them up, which is always a lot of fun! I love my 6er and I'm saving insurance and gas money too.

A stang is a stang, no matter what-- they're all awesome.

Welcome and enjoy your stay.

Thanks for the words folks!
Hey V8Stang...You did that on purpose didn't ya? Now, I'm gonna have to camp out at the Ford place until I get one! That's the one I want. Nice car man!
Does the GT come with that wide pin strip that says "mustang" on it along the running board? For some reason that looks pretty cool to me.

Don't make up your mind too soon.. silver looks nice too...

You won't regret the V8... it is extremely fun to drive.. and it definately stands out in a crowd!

The bottom mounted stripe that says "mustang" is suposedly only available on the V6.. but you can get anything if you find the right place...

I was in the same boat, went from a Honda payment and insurance to a 2003 GT payment and insurance, and I am only 24. I don't have any regrets whatsoever.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago.

I went from a 92 Accord to a 05 V6 Mustang 'Vert. The V6 has plenty of power for me, especially after driving the 4-cyl Accord all those years.

These are great cars, and you really cannot go wrong.
