Default Just bought a 2000 4.6 Auto

Hey, found a decent GT with 76k miles on it, no rust, runs great. Got performance parts on order. Just wanted to check in.

Looks very clean in the pic, a good purchase IMO. Some 4.10's will wake up the performace of the factory tuned slushbox. Some unsolicited advice, gear it and free up that 4.6, let her breathe...

Default Thanks!

Thanks everyone. I'm very excited, I've always wanted one. As far as changing gears goes... we'll see but thanks for the tip. Came with a set of flowmasters (40's I think - they're unmarked except for "Flowmaster") welded into the stock catback pipes. I'm going to leave it for now because it sounds good and it's technically less restrictive than stock. Ordered an upper plenum, TB, intake, coil packs, plugs, low temp stat, hypertech programmer and I just fitted subframe connectors, they're ready to be welded in. Oh and I picked up a (useless?) shock/strut tower brace which I'm almost reluctant to put on because I'd need to punch 3 holes into each side. We'll see.
