Hi every one, I'm new here, I've been on the Mazda 6 Club forums for a little over a year now. I was in the midst of saving up for one, but I was driving down the street last saturday and saw something that I just had to take another look at. Monday I went to the bank and withdrew the $3000 that I had meticulously saved up over the last year and bought it. Switched the title today and I am now the proud owner of a Crimson Red 1971 Mach 1, hence the "speed of sound" handle. It has a 302 with a C-4 tranny. two barrel carbourator, it runs flawlessly, I don't even need to prime the carbourator before I crank it. The guy I bought it from fixed up the engine, the transmission and the exaust, it has flowmaster headers and strait pipes with strait - through mufflers no smoke belching out the back, no strong smell of gas. oh man I'm in love. Anyway, I'll post pix just as soon as I find my camera.By the way, my name is Jordon, I'm a 21 year old college student, and I'm a scorpio, and I come from a Ford faimly, literally, my dad has a 2004 F-150, my mom has a 1999 Mustang, which she is practically salivating to trade in for an '05 GT, anyway, I live in Houston Texas, on the Southwest side, but I go to school out in West Texas. I'm a geology major, and for the record, the body and the interior really need some work, so I'll be posting anything I do to it. Okay, that's about it.
