I have just been reintroduced to the Mustang world this past August. I had a 64 1/2 new until May 1968. Then I traded it off. I had none until my 65th birthday and my wife, bless her(a lot) got a lead for a mustang. Its a 67 coupe, I6, C4, New paint, brakes, headliner, transmission, tires, gas tank, battery, etc. It is a Dark Moss Green. The guy she got it from, built it for his daughter and she didn't want that "old thing" when she turned 16. So, she wanted something new, so she picked out a Chevrolet Cobalt! And he sold the 'stang to my wife for $4700.00 I still laugh at his daughter when I am in the mustang or even when I look at MY MUSTANG. Anyway, I've added some new stuff, carb, trunk mat, some chrome under the hood and most importantly a new car cover. And now I have my weekly cruzer! Glad to be here and hope we all have a long friendship together.

Thank you, one and all for the warm reception. I look forward to a long and fruitful relationship at this forum. Thru some research today, here, I relearned that the autolite 1100 and the loadamatic dist does not give a lot of vacuum at idle. But the car runs great now with the new PONY carb. They sell a teriffic product. Gotta run, late night in garage with my toy. Thanks again for the welcome!
