HELLO FROM CANADA
Hello there. I just stumbled onto this forum had to sign up. I live in Calgary, Alberta & have owned a 1965 GT convertible since 1986. It's been completely stripped & rebuilt. I paid someone a lot of money to cut out the rust (there was lots) & spray some new paint, but I did all of the mechanical & electrical work myself. I'll post a picture if I can figure out how. I modified a few things but you can't tell from the outside. First was the T5 five speed. That was the best mod ever! I added a Versailles rear end to get the 4 wheel discs. There were no mods made for this when I did it. Put in a twin cylinder master cylinder. I also lowered the upper control arm 1 inch. That was a big mistake. I'm having nothing but problems with that. I'll post someting in the Tech section in hopes that someone will be able to get this thing going in the right direction. I've been given permision from my better half to finally get a 65/66 fastback. I owe her a new kitchen first but am keeping my eyes open!

RE: HELLO FROM CANADA
Welcome! Sounds like you've got some knowledge to contribute- and I'm sure there's someone in the tech sections who can help you with the control arm problem. Best of luck, and I hope you find your fastback!
