Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself since i'll probably be on this a whole lot in the upcoming months lol.
I just picked up a 1991 lx fox body 5.0. Wasnt really lookin for a v8, but couldnt pass the deal up. Some quickies: 57,000mi., small cowl hood, hood pins, 255lph walbro, 24lb. injectors - however ive heard that these are normally blue and the ones on the car are orange, k&n intake.
Got a couple small stuff to do on it - interior needs center console clip, one new visor, some touch-up on the nuts and bolts, just ordered a speedo gear and sensor - mine was drenched in old trans fluid lol.
This brings me to the biggest problem the car has: If i dont double clutch, it grinds in every gear but 5th, and 2nd doesnt go in half of the time. The guy i bought it from said a friend of his put in a new stock clutch about 2k ago, but didnt really know wat he was doing. If he's been driving it for 2 thousand miles like this, i bet the 2nd gear syncros are shot, but the others are still ok. Im really hoping the clutch just needs to be adjusted, so i went ahead and ordered a triple hook quadrant, and a fenderwall clutch cable adjuster - i figure this'll be an upgrade and the quadrant cant hurt, even if it doesnt solve my problem. I wouldnt mind swapping out the trans, but i will be working on a student salary, so id like to spend as little on this project as i can.
Anyway, if anyone has any info reguarding my problem it would much appreciated.

It did come with the pony mats, i just put in some cardboard i had laying around because i went the junkyard the next day.
