Wannabe Mustang Owner!!!
Hi all,
After having my heart set on a Camaro for a while, it has come time to purchase. I have a GM credit card with over $1000 off a new Camaro. However, the 2011 Mustang has really swayed me. If someone can sponsor me for an X-plan pin, I would really appreciate it! Without that, I am having a hard time justifying this over a Camaro to my wife (considering my GM discount). Please! I would be really grateful! Thank you in advance!
Mike
If this request violates any rules, I apologize. but I am really trying to become a Mustang owner!

Only a 1,000 off. Please don't let be the only reason to get a Camaro. The Mustang does get 3 mpg more than the Camaro does anyway. They are pretty much even at every level. The Camaro isn't going to see any major changes in 2011. But I have a feeling once she sees it she fall in love with it. Mustangs kinda grow on ya. The Mustang isn't called America's Sweetheart for no reason.

Why would you go and spend all that money buying a car that you are not going to be happy with it? Talk to the dealer maybe you can get a better price for the mustang than what you would have paid for the camaro. Though I do not know what the prices of new cars are. I am not in the market for a new one. Maybe your wife has her heart set on a new camaro. Depending on how long you keep the mustang and with todays gas prices you probably will save more than a thousand dollars in the long run just in fuel savings with the better gas mileage of the mustang. Whatever your choice good luck in your purchase.
