Hi all. I'm about to buy a 2002 mustang gt with 34000 miles. I was looking at another one and the rims on both cars are diffrent, Butit is the same year. Do you know why? Is it an option? Is traction control standard on gt? The one i'm getting does not have leather or the metal black rims. It has the white rims. what is the difference between them? Is it the same hp? and do you think $12,000 is a good price for 2002 with 34000 miles?? thanks.

chill dude, we'll help. the GT's have two trim levels, deluxe and premium. Premium is basically fully loaded; it's got leather, traction, and the mach 460 or 1000. 12K sounds pretty good to me, I bought mine with 25K for $18000 out the door (ford used car certified from a dealer). Also, white rims are not a factory option, the premium has the grey / silver bullit rims, and deluxe is just a regular rim. Engine will be the same on either. I think the rims on both cars are non-factory. Got any pics? post em and this will be easier.

Thats a good way to get help...Was everyone supposed to immediately jump on your question and answer??Jees Impatient huh.You relise you posted in the middle of the night and everyone goes to work in the morning so you wont get much answers till everyone gets out of work right??But anyways Sounds like a decent deal to me.Id ask some questions about the rims thou and also see if it has any upgrades such as exhaust or motor work.Most stangs have exhaust and gears,people buy them and end up later finding out the car has a ton of stuff done to it.Did you run a car fax on the car yet??Mabey someone smashed over a curb or something and needed new rims or they could have just upgraded the rims cause they liked them
