Interesting, on stock motor? Ive seen a few accounts of guys running 10-11 psi on stock 4.6L with my same s/c and it blew. Some after a few thousand miles of hard racing, some longer.

So I went near-WOT yesterday (like 75%) in 2nd and 3rd, and at around 4500 rpm the guage read only 4-5 psi. I'm wondering if WOT would be any different... it felt like if I went WOT it wouldnt be more than 5-6 psi. Dont most superchargers reach their full boost early in RPMs like 4000?

I'm guessing 5 psi would be around 350-370rwhp (stock motor, stock manifolds, adding 3" cat back tomorrow)
Im wondering why the previous owner went this route... the whole kit is about $6k. I guess running such low boost and tune would be about as reliable as stock. But for a lot less than 6k you can do CAI, headers, exhaust, cams, tune..... and have as much if not more N/A power.

My A/F guage is always showing it running as rich as possible.. but I only see it when driving normally. I imagine if it runs completely rich even at WOT i'll want to get it tuned........

my advice would be to get it on a dyno and tune it.. at least you'll have all the numbers and can set it for how you want it.. since there was no paper work and info on what was done to it or lack there of... it looks awesome so take care and have lots of fun! keep it side ways
