Thanks for all the welcomes. You welcomers are being some welcoming.

There will be lots of photos taken, please feel free to enjoy what I have for you so far.

I am currently 'building' the car on a spreadsheet, and will hopefully be able to outline it in a build thread for some suggestions/observations/criticisms/warnings etc.

Just took care of an oil & brake fluid change on the 01 Cobra; had to take it for a little clean-out run on the on-ramp. Did your cars do ~80mph in 2nd gear as well?

Hey guys

Just joined up as I have recently purchased a 2007 GT/CS to strip and convert into a road-racing car here in Australia.

The car has not yet left the shores of the US; still tracking down a whole bunch of parts to throw in a 20' container.

Will certainly be making good use of the forum's knowledge on S197 & 4.6 3V tech issues and parts sourcing/development.
