Hey, everyone! I'm 17, I live in Atlanta, and my Mustang is my first car. It was a lucky find, for sure. The seller had it at a pawn shop and originally wanted $1200 to pay them off and then hand it over to me. That was a bit much since the shop wouldn't let us look under the hood or anything, so I passed... But then, as soon as I got home, it was back on Craigslist for just $600 this time. I decided it's well worth the risk at that price, since it is guaranteed to run at least. So I went back out to meet the guy at the pawn shop, and arrived as they were closing.... And they wouldn't take the time to make one final sale for the day. So I'll be back on Monday evening, and this time I won't be riding back in my dad's car.
So, all I know is it has the little four-cylinder engine, it's red, and it has a white top. Looks just like this one:
Only I can't say for sure whether the interior is red like that one or not... I'm telling you, that pawn shop was way too strict about letting people look at cars. I had to peek through a fence and could only see the back of it.
But yeah, if it turns out to be a mistake, I'll resell it and admit defeat... But if it's in good working order, my plans are as follows:
1. Put that Top Gear sticker I've been saving on it
2. If lucky enough to find a complete one at Pull-A-Part, get the Saleen body kit
3. If body kit is not matching red, and as long as the interior is anything but red, get the car painted light blue
4. If it makes it this far, then consider performance upgrades
Nothing special, but I'm just a senior in high school and I don't even have a job at the moment. So yeah, it's not going to be anything massively cool.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it will work out. Seems like they have no interest in paying to get their car back since they have another Mustang, so they just want it to go to someone instead of sitting in the pawn shop's lot indefinitely. I really doubt that there's anything majorly wrong with it. But, yeah, if there is a problem, $600 is not going to be hard to get back.
