New from Chicagoland
Hey all!
Just joined up after putting a Mustang in my garage last week.
My son has been out of work for a while and his '04 GT was about to be repossessed. Tripple black, droptop.
I bought out the loan for him and traded my '09 Versa hatchback which I had lowered, tinted and installed a 800 Watt system into.
The Mustang needs some help and I've begun to get parts together for it. He had clipped a pole while backing and the left-front has been wiped out. So a fender and bumper cover (cobra style) is on order.
Also, I have a coolant leak below the thermostat where the intake meets the cylinder head, so I'll be pulling that soon.
Many more mods will follow and I do all of my own work, save paint.
Anyways, This is my third Mustang, the first a '67 I bought in '78, the second a new '80 that had the Turbo 2.3L (turd motor).
I sold that car thirty years ago, so this '04 really takes me back.
I'll be sure to post up pictures as soon as some progress is made.
I'm looking forward to all that's to come both with this project and what comes from this forum.
