Thanks for the welcoming.
I had it delivered late last night and WOW! This is going to be a long relationship! I will get pics up soon.
last night, I discovered:
- The tach turns red when you hit the redline (I am still gritting my teeth for allowing myself to get there - it just got there too damn fast!);
- The car gently rolls around corners with the traction control off;
- I can justify it to my wife as a DD with it sporting 26mpg;
- I will also need to hit reset on the mpg reading after my spirited drives (hit 7.9mpg for a while);
- Old dudes, kids, and woman of all ages couldn't take their eyes off it;
- I will need to practice pulling into the passing lane THEN punching it;
- PUSH Down on the shifter for reverse - this was embarrassing - I shall never mention this again...
- As g* as the sound tube is, I kinda liked it.
- How to change the Mycolor from purple to orange (Oregon State Beavers!)
Now, for upgrades:
Interior:
- stereo is ordered; kappa 6x8's, JL amp, old school Kicker ZR600 with one or maybe both Kicker (round) solobarics
Exterior
- exhaust; sound tube will get old soon and the engine is way too cool not to hear
- my six y.o. is begging me to get stripes, scoop, and louvers - I am still out on those.
- Chin spoiler
- Blackout kit for the lights
Ha, I live between Silverton and Molalla. I actually drove to Sponges Landing last night on my drive.
