New to the Forum!
Hey all,
Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm new to the forum, but not to Mustangs. Here's the story about a guy and his car (er, cars). Once upon a time... Back in 1990, when I was a young(er) man, I decided it was time to get a real Mustang (my previous 1981 4-banger didn't really count) and picked up a new GT Vert. Been running it ever since, across the country and two continents (Uncle Sam ships for free to Germany for military). All was good and happy until the '05s came along. I tried hard, real hard to resist. I thought if I restored the old GT that I could resist the temptations. Well, that went real good and the car looks mighty sharp, but obviously, as the photos show, I could not hold out in the end. A few funds came available and it was my 40th! birthday, so I got myself a present. Since I'm now so old I decided I didn't need a vert this time around and automatics are nice too. Would have gotten a GT if there'd been any available (we know how that is), but there was a Roush Sport to be had, it had me. Joined onto the forum to try to get an idea of what new rims to throw on so I can get rid of the training wheels. Any ideas of some 19"ers that are light, yet keep with the retro look?
Thanks, ed
