Default Hi I'm Ian and I want a Mustang

Hi,

I have wanted a Mustang since I moved to the US 15 years ago. Unfortunately I live in New Hampshire and a Mustang has to be a second car. So I'm ready to buy an old Mustang convertible for summer use. My thinking is that now would be a good time to start looking while it is still cold.
So, with a max budget of $5000, what should I be looking for? I don't know which subforum to ask this in so please move this if appropriate.

Thanks

I like the 4th gen cars. Obviously I would love the new style but I prefer the 4th to the 3rd gen.

just remember. The older the cars are the more they require care & cash to keep them running.

Best of luck!

Hi, Ian good luck in your purchase. Make sure you check the frame on any car you buy from the N East. I lived in NY, and CT until 08. And every year they salt and sand the roads, streets for the winter storms. Most of the cars in the area have alot of rust. Also the cars near the shore's. On the price , if you are willing to drive out of your area. Check out the www.barginnews.com . Welcome.
