Default New ! need some help :P

Hi every one! I am new to this site. I am looking forward to getting advice from people and helping me out.

I am turning 17 in a couple months and want a mustang 03-04 . My problem is should I get a v6 or a gt? this isn't my first car, im selling my v8 4.7 ram 1500 to get a stang! I have allays loved mustangs and I feel like this is my opportunity to get one. I work a min wage job so money is some what a issue as far as insurance go's. the mustang I want will be under my moms name to make it cheeper but I still am worried about the $. Also if I get a v6 a exhaust is almost a must haha. I just love the sounds of v8 even tho I know you cant get it out of a v6 even with exhausts.

I sort of need help on selling this car to my mom :P . if yall could point out the pros & cons of a 99-04 mustang . I am also not one of those teens like to show off and race. thanks!

Welcome to MF. If money is a issue, then I would first check and see what it is going to cost you to insure.

I'd suggest a V6 as well. Since you work at a minimum wage job, the cost of gas will be an issue. The V6 gets decent mpg and is a somewhat more affordable car in terms of gas, insurance, and probably tires too lol.

Like someone stated above, drive this for a few years and then work your way up to something better.

Welcome to the site.

thanks every one. Yeah right now with a v8 truck and a girl. gas is killing me! Here are my plans for a v6..

-03-04 v6 (stick)
-MAC Dual Exhaust Conversion Kit! (get that rumbling going)
-Air intake(may be help engine breath better)
- blacked out tail lights & Lower Rear Valance Decal(don't forget the black bullet wheels)
- then simple things, black Antenna shorter and other accessories !

Does v6's have traction control ? just trying to help my mom think that it isn't that fast of a car.

go for the best deal you can get...check insurance rates...then get the v8 iwould think gas mileage would still be better than your truck.

welcome

as 95 BLOWN GT said, check insurance rates on both and then go for the best deal you can get. If both are within your budget, I would also recommend looking & test driving both....I think that would also help in you decision making process.

Good Luck!
