Default My daily driver

2013 Ford Mustang, base model. Currently back at the dealer to have the rear strut brace replaced. I have a few other simple mods planned as time/money permits. Mainly, darker wheels and fitting my ham radio gear in the interior.

Recent pic next to my dually:

From last summer when the strips were finished:

Sharp looking car. You said the rear brace has to be replaced, why? That Chevy looks awesome. I'm a big fan of the square body Chevy trucks.

You're going to put a ham radio antenna on it? Hope I read that wrong.

Nice car, welcome.

Something about the tolerances being too loose allowing the brace to move and causing a squeaking/clunking sound. I guess Panhard rod would be the correct term for it. There is a TSB out against it if one comes in under warranty and it was replaced with an upgraded part.

It took me a few years to track that truck down with all the options I wanted (diesel/4 spd/4x4/dually). I grew up driving my dad's '78 Cab/Chassis farm truck and have always liked that body style.

No, you read that right. It won't be a big antenna, probably about the size and shape as the factory radio antenna is all.
