Hard to Buck Tradition
Howdy, as they say down here in Texas...lol
Growing up in the 60's and 70's I saw my share of Stangs,Mach's and Shelby's when Muscle was Muscle.
My Dad bought almost all of his children (8 of them) cars..mostly Mustangs.
My brothers and sisters have owned them form 65. 66.67.68.70.72.76. I've personnally owned an 84. 87 and now an 08. Why the big gap, two marraiges= No Ride For You!
Time has passed, but not traditions. I never wanted a Jag or a Vet. Mustang was the pinnacle for me.
For the few things we often won't admit our father's taught us I did pay attention to one thing.
My son just got his permit, so what did I do...I took him to a car lot. He wanted a "stick" but I told him he has to pay his dues...lol
He is now the proud owner of a 2007 Mustang (V6) in the Grabber Orange scheme. My GT is Black , so as Bengals fans I think we have it covered.
Lots of questions to come, you guys are the "Pro's"
So have a little patience with us as we get into what he wants for his and what he can afford..

My father-in-law was a mechanic and always had a mustang. He passed away, his stang got sold off (so the living children wouldn't argue over who got it) and we have had a Mustang deficit ever since. Until I got mine last week. Cars are one awesome tradition to pass down to your kids. And my kids want me to take them out daily.
Welcome!
