First Mustang, First V8, First RWD
whats up guys, my name is Jimmy. been messing around with cars for about 3 years. still learning though. I started out with a 97 Dodge Neon. wasnt anything special. did almost every bolt on and a decent amount of wieght reduction. its a peppy car. runs a high 14 in the 1/4. definitly was looking at getting something faster.
a bunch of my friends have mustangs and they found me this decently looking 94 gt convertible on craigslist. has 158k on the body. 10k on the motor and trans.
motor is a 331 with trick flow heads, cam, and intake. 78mm bbk throttle body, CAI, underdrive pulley set, bassani short tubes, o/r x pipe, flowmaster cat back, and msd ignition.
trans is a tko600 with a tremec short shifter. rear end has 3.73 gears. all bushings have been replace. motor has brand motor mounts with the motor mount inserts. eibach springs and new shocks front and rear. new king cobra clutch absolutly no rust underneath.
only problems are it hesitates every once in a while like its not getting fuel(probably the stock 19lb injectors) and the reverse lights stay on all the time(disconnected the reverse switch from the trans and it still did it so i removed the bulbs).
motor is still on the stock 19lb injectors. working on getting some 30lb injectors temporarly. that is untill i get a vortech supercharger and start kicking ***. its a fun fast car now. cant wait to learn more about these cars. they are a nice platform. well, onto pics....
