My mother had a '69 V6 Royal Blue Mustang Coupe that my father tricked out with a white vinyl roof (big back in those days) luggage rack on the trunk and wire wheels; back in those days, it was "cherry." Had the straight 289 V6 and was fun to drive but it needed sway bars. Anyway...
The this past April, AVIS gave me a V6 Mustang to drive. I was hesitant at first but went ahead and drove it for 3 weeks (business trip). WOW! I was impressed. VERY impressed. So much so that in May, I bought a 2014 V6 coupe, automatic. Not fancy. Very low end with just the Tech package. I've got 1,364 miles on it so now it's time for some mods.
Currently in the process of researching cold air intake, cat-back exhaust and sway bars. Those will be my first three mods. Then who knows?
I never, ever thought I would come back to a Ford product, but like I said, I was impressed. I am truly enjoying this ride.
Nice to find this forum.
