Hello from England
Hi all
I am looking at buying my first Mustang today. I have already posted in the Arizona section as I am after some history or information on its previous life.
I work for a Ford Main dealer in Essex (just east of London) and although I have owned dozens of cars I have never had a classic Ford.
I am a petrol head through and through I am swapping my 2004 Maseratti 4200 V8 for the Mustang, I also own a Lotus Elise a 1975 MGB GT as well as the shopping car Ford KA and the shed BMW 528 Touring.
I am off today after work to have a look at a 1966 Mustang Coupe straight six manual. Its not my first choice of engine but the V8's are out of my budget at the moment.
One thing I am trying to find out is if I can easily check the cars history for when it was in the US, I have the Chassis number 6F07T232712 but only the UK registration number JTR 386D.
It was imported into the UK from Arizona in 2011 I will post the link to the E-Bay ad below so if anyone can shed any light on its previous life it would be truly appreciated.
Thanks and Hello
Tony
