My 2004 SE GT V8 won't start!
It sat parked, in a mostly protected carport/back deck, under a car cover all Winter in Michigan, where it was about 0 degrees for five months. Battery is charged, plenty gas, other fluids, belts all tight, but when I turn the key and depress the clutch (not in that order!) there is just a loud TIck-Tick-Ticj_Tick-etc. noise, then when I give up, all six gauges turn to max, then back.
What does this mean? It never got directly wet, it was cold and dry and sat for four-to-five months. Never had an alternator or starter problem; could the starter be frozen from not turning for so long? 50 degrees today, put on new plates, filled the tires, thought I was going for a long-delayed ride and click-click-click-click, spinning to max guages, then nothing. Lights, horn etc. work fine.
Help!

2004 GT
Well, it is a Special 40th Anniversary Edition, mostly GT with some Cobra Features (17" chrome wheels, 4.6 liter V8, great Mach 1 sound system, etc.) Really it is just a 2004 Mustang GT V8 with some extra trim, wheels, sound.
Banged the hell out of the alternator, white dust fell out, charged the battery again, started right up, VRRRRRRROOOOOOMMMMMMM!
