68 Owner and restorer
Hi all,
I just got my son's 1968 Mustang plain Jane hardtop. I plan on restoring her to make her an everyday driver to weekend show, somewhere in between. I doubt if I get to keep her, either my Granddaughter will talk me out of it or my son's wife. Whatever, I still enjoy working on cars even after working on aircraft for 40 years. Still a mechanic at heart!!! The car is a 6 banger with a 3 speed on the floor. Lots of good metal, but it still has some problem areas. I haven't done body work before, but I'm eager to learn. I'll be reading a lot and asking a lot of questions.

Thanks for the "Welcome". I'm reading a lot of the threads and I still haven't decided what I'll do. I'm thinking about going original 6 cylinder or going with a V-8 and beefing everything up. I'm still thinking and looking at what I want!!! Also, I loaded up a picture to my name and want to see how that works. lol.
