help with 89 mustang Gt 5.0
OK so I have a 89 mustang that I'm restoring now I just put a stock shifter plate and stock shifter in my mustang and it is loose and I can not get it tight to save my life any ideas of why is there certain bolts I need someone said 13 mm but there too big I'dk what to do please help??

Are the threads stripped out, or do you mean you don't have the correct bolt size?
Your talking about the 4 bolts that hold the shifter down to the tranny case?
Pics would help if I have this wrong.
