Default cervinis bolt on expensive fiberglass hatch

I have a 1987,Scarlett red mustang gt with t top in let's say fixable shape, it runs and drives and can use some fresh paint Bert little if any bodywork, however I have thee worst rotted out metal hatch and decided to get cervinis bolt on $600 hatch, should I or I should say can o use my stock glass and moldings or can I go for a lexan piece instead , I didn't buy it for weight reasons it was really the only rusty rotted thing on the car. If i do go with plexi/lexan what thickness is good for the street and can I still keep stock molding? Has anyone ever used hardwoods glass replacement in a Foxbody hatch made by cervinis, this is gonna beon the street and never see the track, weekend nice day out car, any suggestions would be great
