1991 gt engine swap
I'm new to the forum but had a question about an engine swap. I'm looking to install a 1993 cobra engine in my 1991 gt. Is it a basic one for one swap or do I need a 93 cobra computer. Is there anything else that I should know or need. Thanks in advance for any info.

I would think your stock 91 computer would be fine. The only thing I vaguely remember is that a 5-speed computer will not run well with a AOD. But an AOD computer will run well with a T5.
I don't think there was a difference in the computers between the Cobra and GT, but I've been wrong plenty.
