Just wanted to say ty, had a coolant leak in the 05, due to the info here, I found it.(ty again)
It was tricky and getting worse, thermostat housing, (ford motor lingo, water intake),
was spraying the water on top of the block. It evaporated, leaving no water on the ground.
3 mechanics looked at it, and all wanted $300 for a diag. I found out here , very common in the 05, took a look, found the part, and 2 hrs later, all fixed. Just an fyi, was told had to buy it from the dealership, autozone had one in a very small town 40 min away, worth the trip.
