Default Whats Going on!

hello everyone My Name is Matt, anyways enough about me lol , I drive a 2008 ford mustang V6 with a pony package. mods are front chin spoiler and flowmaster cat back dual exhaust. love it.. ill post some pics.. anways I have a little question. Just did a oil change for the first time the mustang requies 4.7 L but I put in 5L will that hurt anything? let me know p.s I only have 63 000 km on her.

Welcome to MF. As far as your question, I believe too much over fill can cause damage. I'm not sure exactly how much more but I would get her down to the correct level just to be safe.

Welcome to the forum. When you say "level look good tho", do you mean its between the marks on the dipstick? I think .3 liters extra won't hurt you.

I've put 6 qts when I had my 4.0 a few times, like an idiot not thinking and never had an issue. However after those few incidents I always used 5 qts.
