Howdy all.

We just recently brought home a 80 mustang Ghia that we are about to 5.0HO swap once I finish my truck up.
I got the car as I love fox body mustangs and I wanted something that is good to daily drive for my sister yet something once in a while I could bring to the drag strip for a little fun. I don't care about wining just being able to have fun.
All I had to do to get the car was pull the original 3.3L I6 engine that I didn't want anyways.

She needs a bit of work but I should be able to get it where it needs fairly easy.

I plan to use the stock C4 but rebuild it since it is blown.

Anyways a bit about me. I am 18 and love fast cars and trucks especially when the trucks are 4x4. My personal truck is an 88 F150 4x4 302 C6 auto reg cab long bed with a ton of mods and still going on. Recently the engine threw a rod so I am working on fixing that (got a new 302 to put in but I have to work out a few quirks in it).
While my 88 is down I have a 94 Ford Explorer 4x4 4.0L A4LD auto that I drive everyday with a few mods and still slowly getting more.
When I am not working on cars and trucks I am working on motorcycles. I personally have a 73 Harley Davidson XLCH 1000 sportster with a ton of mods on it too.

I work on all 14 (now) of our vehicles and love it most of the time.

My buddy use to have a 88 Mustang 5.0L that was supercharged with a T-top and a t5 transmission. That stang was awesome!
Hope to find out more about these stangs and be able to help.

Welcome to the forum, sounds like you have your hands full. Good luck with that fox, they can be very fun cars.

Thanks I hope it goes fairly smooth with this project.

how do you like those ported E7 heads. I have to decide if I want to spend the money to port my E7s on my F150, keep them stock, or go with GT40 (not p) heads.

I wish I could T5 swap this car but right now since my sister will be daily drving it she won't drive a stick shift.

So I guess that just means later I will have to buy a car like my buddies. LOL

Welcome! You should do a build thread if you haven't already. I'm sure a lot would like to follow your progress.

Thanks everybody.

Once I get it off the flatbed then I will start the build thread that way I have better pics. Either that or when I start getting a few more parts. Maybe I might before to get a better understanding but I don't see much of a reason.
My build will be slow as my main priority is my baby plus I am learning when it comes to stangs I am mostly an F150 guy.
