460 ci in a 2007 body?
What would I have to do to fit a Lincoln 460 into my 2007 Pony Package Mustang?

Swap your front springs for commercial truck springs. Something with about a 10,000lbs rating.
Seriously though, why would you want to do that ?

Sorry for the delay, I was travelling. You think leave it alone because it's ok the way it is, or, the 460 isn't worth the time and work?
Let me know. I do like the car with the 4.0L in it.

The 460 is definitely NOT the way to go. Unless you need to be completely different, which isn't bad, or you enjoy getting 12 mpg. OK, maybe 15 mpg in a mustang. There are much easier and cheaper ways to increase performance, if that's what your looking for.

I'm with orangepeel on this one. I think I would go a different route than going with the Lincoln power plant. Now if you had an old coupe or truck that 460 would rock.

Orangepeel and Stang:
The 460 can also be the 429. Can this be uprated? OR, what do you recommend; I'm listening?

What is your plans for this build?
To be different and because you can-go for it.
Racing-there are better lighter options out there.

If your building a drag car. Big motors make big power. Any other application is just silly. The extra weight over the front of the car will destroy handling. For Daily driving you'll get 8 miles to the gallon. And finally itll be expensive to do the swap.
